Srinagar, Aug 25: International figure on hospital quality improvement, Dr Fiaz Fazili who is on a visit to his homeland Sunday delivered lecture on the subject of his expertise at Eye Care Research Centre Karan Nagar in the City.
 Dr Fazili, who is a Certified Professional and Consultant in Health Care Quality and Hospital Accreditation during his lecture on “Hospital Quality and Standards Improvement and Patient Safety” said “human life is of paramount importance and so there cannot be any compromise on healthcare quality.”
 “If a hospital is serious about quality and safety, it seeks independent confirmation-from independent sources, this is how things happen globally,” Dr Fazili, who in the past was associated with SKIMS Soura, said.
 “To meet expectations of patients all Govt and non-Govt hospitals need to meet standards of quality and safety,” he added.
