All peace, all bliss
For believers here is the city where they should come and seek grace
RAMADAN -the most awaited month of immense blessings and mercy is here. Thanks to Allah the Almighty who has blessed His servants with, certain special times like the holy month of Ramadan when prayers are readily accepted, intentions & efforts to line up with Allah's ordainment are not only rewarded but multiplied. For believers, Ramadan is more than the abstinence of food, drink and, other activities from dawn to dusk providing a powerful institutional readiness for the improvement of moral and spiritual character not only through clean thoughts and intentions but even by actions and spoken words.

All of us fall short, commit sins, and make mistakes. Prophet Muhamad (SAW) said: “Every son of Adam sins, and the best of those who sin are those who repent.” (al-Tirmidh). To adopt pious and live moral live style directed to Almighty, indeed ahead of you is the blessed month of Allah. A month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. A month which with Allah is the best of months. Th prophet (SAW) said,” When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of hell fire are closed and the devils are chained.”(Bukhari)

Th prophet (SAW) said,” When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of hell fire are closed and the devils are chained.”(Bukhari).
Here is the month of Ramadan an opportunity for exercising self-evaluation and self-education to develop self-discipline, self-control, self-restraint, to purify soul and change towards God consciousness (piety). Ramadan is the best time to shun unlawful, unheeded impermissible temptations, habits, addictions (smoking etc) and negative personality traits with sincere penitence and resolve to never commit that or other sin in future. The believer must be able to derive maximum benefit from the blessings and rewards of this month with peace of mind. Although it is a virtuous act in Ramadan to offer breakfast (iftar) to those who are fasting, but there are many “iftar parties” hosted by families or friends or different organizers. Some people believe these gatherings are losing their religious significance as many places turn into arenas for showmanship or getting into records...as longest or biggest or with israf”. Hence riyah and extravagance is robbing Ramadan of its essence.
Surely, there is one favorite destination for Believers all over the world and that city is Madina. A great place of seeking truth and piety for the deprived souls, and broken hearts. The experience of spending Ramadan at Masjid Al-Nabawi is unique. Anyone who spends Ramadan once in this holy city wishes to come again and again every year during this month. A place where the good deeds of Ramadan can be performed with much ease , devotion and great satisfaction. Truly, a Believer may travel through the world but I doubt one will see a city where tranquility, serenity, solace is guaranteed.
Anyone who hasn’t seen the Ramadan of Holy mosques, esp Masjid Nabawi, can’t appreciate the real practicality of Islamic values and rituals. Hundreds of thousands are being fed. These guests of the Prophet (SAW) sit, while those honored with this service circulate welcome guests of Allah with greetings and smiles handing out dates, or small containers of yoghurt and cold water inviting visitors to his designated “sufra-breakfast sheet,” for iftar (breakfast)- a tradition continuing since more than thousand years. In this palace of the Prophet (saw), no one, howsoever poor, goes hungry when the time of the fast is ended. Where is it, millions of hungry people are invited to take food at one time, without any stampede - a classical example of charity, equality, discipline and hygiene to witness. The character, ultimate love for the Prophet (SAW) and his city, devotion to the religion, hospitality, exemplary charity and duty to propagate Islam makes the people of Medina very special. The city of the Prophet is like home to all Mulsims. Prophet (saw) said: “For the believer, Madinah is the best place. If only they could understand its virtue fully and its practical example . May this write up refresh the hearts of those who have been to Madinah, inspire those yet to visit.
