2.When a slave adopts humility (tawaadhu i.e. I am nothing) for the sake of Allah Ta’aalaa, He elevates him, and when the slave lets pride (kibr i.e. I am something) overtake him, Allah Ta’aalaa disgraces him."
3."I wish that mankind would learn this knowledge - meaning his knowledge - without even one letter of it being attributed to me” – Imaam ash-Shaafi'ee4.. Never do I argue with a man with a desire to hear him say what is wrong, or to expose him and win victory over him. Whenever I face an opponent in debate I silently pray - O Lord, help him so that truth may flow from his heart and on his tongue, and so that if truth is on my side, he may follow me; and if truth be on his side, I may follow him. Civility in an Uncivil World & Guidance From Quran & Sunnah;(sins of tongue )
Civility in an Uncivil World-.Guidance From Quran & Sunnah.
Tongue Lashing ,Impertinence
Lack of civility and good manners in our society is rampant-Abuse and clumsy jokes may win some popularity, ignorant followers or "likers"but a poor return in the life Hereafter.
Moral Criticism for Structural Injustice is right under demo society, but within limits of decency .Civilized society is one whose members do not [typically]abuse or use derogatory language for one another"
Critics,.FB users, while Commenting ,opining Must not Cross the Thin Line Between Criticism to improve social order become prey to ,Professional rivalry-jealous and Cynicism-, Our faith Islam teaches good manners and behavior, so why don't its followers listen? Muslims are doing a great disservice to their religion by using bad words , talking impertinently with foul abusive language is haram and is considered a major sin.The persons who do tongue lashing at whatever passes their mind cant enter paradise
Prophet #Muhammad (S.A.W) said: "The best amongst you are those who have the best manners and character." [Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Book 56, Hadith 759] The Prophet of Islam has said:“Allah has forbidden Heaven to the users of foul language. There is also curse on those who abuse, are shameless and impertinent and they will all be denied entry to Paradise. .Allah says in the Holy Qur’an:
“Shame on all such persons who talk about the failings of others and indulge in ridiculing them." (Qur’an, 104:1)Whatever a foul mouthed person says about others, he does it thoughtlessly and never bothers about what opinion others have of him..;May God help us be of the best character and manners for our families, friends and all people around us;Abdullah ibn Amr said:
“The Prophet of Allah was never obscene, derrogatory ,abusive or coarse even to those Who didnt leave any stone turned to tease him;;Rather, he used to tell us that the best among us were those with the best manners.”
-I always believe that there’s a very thin line between criticism, indecency and settling personal scores which one should not cross.. Criticism is always a positive thing (or say it’s called constructive opposition) and cynicism is always a negative one which in fact exposes one’s psyche. The reason I said the thin line is that sometimes people while criticizing cross that thin line of "sharaft, ikhlaq ,sunnah ,"as most of us end up with sins of tongue as a cynic.,evil doers. Why the so-called critics become cynic crossing the thin line?t is not becoming of a Muslim with good character to use foul abusive language, yet we are surrounded by it. We hear & read obscene and vulgar comments, language in conversations between friends, on social media, and while driving on the road. Cursing and swearing to some has become second nature. It causes one to wonder how this degradation in language became so common. It should be unacceptable to us and it should not be considered something trivial.Aisha, the Prophet’s wife, narrated that he (peace be upon him) said, “Your duty is to be gentle and beware of harshness and bad words.” (Sahih Bukhari)
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “It is not befitting the truthful that they curse others.” (Sahih Muslim)
The closest companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) described that he would not abuse others, he would not use obscene words, and he would not curse others.
The current state of our society is far from what Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) tried so hard to establish.
Guarding our tongues from foul language is part of perfecting our character. When frustrated or angry, we should not let our temper get the better of us and use ugly words, especially in the presence of our children, women for that matter any humankind--.
Purification of the tongue is important so as not to lose credibility in front of Allah and His servants. My suggestion is that. Thinking before speaking a detailed self-evaluation guideX24x7 ,Umar Ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Hold yourself accountable before you are held accountable and weigh your deeds before they are weighed for you." Whoever try to oppose for sake of opposing only will be isolated by general public. It’s time for displaying mature approach and not cynical hooting. Hopefully such people understand the gravity of the situation....In this day and age when obscenity, vulgarity and lewdness are becoming more and more a part of one’s life and persona, and where immature youth feel the need to drop a few swear words every now and then just to fit in or sound cool or intimidating, I felt it important to share a few narrations that reinforce the position of Islam on the usage of such language and other forms of abuse.
Unfortunately, with the advent of unsupervised social media, many Muslims feel that typing behind an account makes it somewhat legitimate or less sinful for one to swear in every Tweet or Facebook status of thei
Final Reminder
These hadiths should serve as a strong reminder to each of us to treat each other well. Whether it be our parents, spouse, children, neighbors, or even strangers, we should treat each person with the best of manners.
May Allah make use from among the people of manners and Paradise.
Good character is one of the paths to Paradise in Islam;
