Never do I argue with a man with a desire to hear him say what is wrong, or to expose him and win victory over him. Whenever I face an opponent in debate I silently pray - O Lord, help him so that truth may flow from his heart and on his tongue, and so that if truth is on my side, he may follow me; and if truth be on his side, I may follow him. Justice for Eve,s Daughters?Crime shall pay….
Justice for Eve,s Daughters?Crime shall pay….
“The Smoking Gun Did Not Go Up in Smoke”-……..The day “ HEROES ”failed in their duties? And People made their sobs Heard beyond the evil
of society - Neither love nor hatred can be allowed to compromise justice, this is what Islam teaches us about justice, says /fiazfazilli
Oh you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your
kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a better protector to both (than you). So follow not your lusts, lest you may avoid justice, and if you
distort your witnesses or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is ever well acquainted with what you do.”(Quran- Nisa: 135)
Imagine waking up one morning to the sound of gunshots. A young man has just been killed. You pass by a home where you hear some children
crying, orphaned, and left alone to suffer because of the crimes of other people. On the other side of town, you witness a home that has
just been ransacked, its residents thrown out mercilessly. You walk past a quiet street and see a car that has been vandalized, its
windows broken to shattered glass. You hear the cries- Two helpless women dying under mysterious conditions, A Womb Desecrated; crying for
justice. All of us want to know the truth. Now, just for a moment, stop imagining, switch on the TV, and go watch the news .Chances are
you will see all this happening right in front of your eyes, and even more, in our very real world., Listen to the State,s Chief executive,
time for him to prove that he is good at doing something by succeeding in a difficult situation., His electrifying short speech in
parliament,.`` I am a Muslim….``, and subsequent visit to Prophet’s mosque in Medina Munawarah while performing Umrah , made people at
large stop to loosing complete hope in the present day Governance ,and to re- think that in some nook or corner there exists a young
Kashmiri who can think above the dirty politics and ancestral mistakes, and at least can make future Kashmir a better place to live
in. But,the man badly let down his recently acquired admirers even before anyone could think of including him amongst, “My favorites.”
What harmed his credibility is that he blindly chose; What is a brutal crime at one end is an immense human tragedy at the other? And , to
discard hurriedly it as a case of accidental death by drowning invoked public suspicion ,anger and unrest..We live in a world where there
are people who commit crimes and create chaos in society. There are people who commit thefts. There are people who vandalize cities. There
are people who torment others. There are people who are not fair and just when it comes to their dealings with people. Often times, they
get away with their wrongdoings. There can be no peace without the firm establishment of justice, an unjust social system is a
temporarily dormant volcano whose eruption can be expected any moment.
How can there be peace ,when honour( izzat Aabroo ka muqam-) is not restored to the owner, or when criminals go free after blatantly
breaking law and order? Amongst these very important divinely instructed laws is the law of establishing justice. Allah the Almighty
has commanded in explicit words the importance of standing up for justice. In all your dealing, you are required to stand firmly for
justice even if it be against yourself and your kith and kin. “O you who believe! Be firm in justice as witnesses for God, even in cases
against yourselves, your parents or your kin"[ ch Nisa; 4: 135]And if you give your word, you must be just, even though it be against your
kin, and fulfil the covenant of God. For that is what He has Commanded you that you may remember." chAn'am; 6: 152] Truly God commands you to
give back trusts to those to whom they are due, and when you judge between people, to judge with justice.... (Quran, 4:58) And act
justly. Truly, God loves those who are just Quran, 49:9) We should even be just with those who we hate, as Allah (st) has said:,<`..
...And let not the hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just:that is nearer to piety.... > (Quran, 5:8).Islam provides many human
rights for the individual .The life and property of all citizens in an Islamic state are considered sacred, whether a person is Muslim or
not. Islam also protects honor. So, in Islam, insulting others or making fun of them is not allowed. The Prophet Muhammad(saw) said:
{Truly your blood, your property, and your honor are inviolable.}
Al-Bukhari, #1739. Allah then sent down this verse, commanding theMuslims to be just, even if it goes against themselves, their parents,
their kith and kin, and whether they be rich or poor.Naturally, it is very easy for human beings to wish for justice against others who have
done injustice upon them, or to a third party. The heart is prone to inclining towards that which is just. This natural inclination,
however, changes when we are the ones at fault. Let’s take a look at the wisdom behind having a ruler (Khalifah) in Islamic society to
rule us is that we always have an authority that will stand for the truth, and rule people with justice in accordance to Allah’s Commands.
Unfortunately, we do not expect to have a “Khalifah”, in this part of world and age., nor we expect from you such actions. Often times,
there are situations that need to be dealt with justly on a higher level, and our administrators /leaders are not willing to take that
step. When our administrators are not capable of taking the lead of establishing justice at an upper level, what options are we left to?
Public at large must do their part in trying to bring justice, but until that justice comes, we should always stick to the truth, and
struggle peacefully for its establishment. Allah explains the wisdom behind the command to establish justice in society.“Oh you who
believe! Stand out firmly for Allah, as just witnesses, and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that
is nearer to piety: and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is well-acquainted with what you do.” (Al-Ma’idah). As Allah Himself created the balance
of justice as His law in this world, Allah will not allow any injustice to happen, without bringing that person to account. Every
one of us was created by Allah, and every one of us will return to Him for final judgment. Allah says in the Quran, that He will set up a
balance of justice on the Day of Resurrection. On that day, no one will be dealt with unjustly. If there is a matter that will be as
small as the weight of a mustard seed, Allah (swt) in His Manifest Wisdom will take account of it. Allah will be our Judge. To conclude,
the General public may not agree with your political emancipations, or how a political legacy divides and rules the fortunes of J&K’state
first family. Definitely many people carry a good will for you and see in you an honest and a well meaning person ,a bright future
administrator, passionate, and daring, and firmly believe that you were mis- informed about the incident. This is your chance, now. The
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Accumulated sins are expiated with each, “Umrah",and you have to stand again before the
Allah the Almighty for your account. The faith we follow, tell us the rulers are not above the law. All officials of the state, whether they
are the head or ordinary employees, are equal in the eyes of the law.None can claim immunity. Even an ordinary citizen has the right to
forward a claim or file a complaint against the highest executive in the country. No government, or administrator, or head of a department
can order another person to do wrong. A person who is so ordered has the right to refuse to comply, and this would not be seen as an
offense under Islamic Law.We ask Allah to make us amongst those who always stand firmly on the truth, for justice. We ask Allah to forgive
us for our mistakes, and make us amongst the successful ones, on that day when He(swt) will bring us all to account, and every soul will be
dealt with in complete justice, and rewarded with only that which they learned with their own hands.
